This message is for Matt Finch. My name is Michelle and I am a therapist and patient advocate at Springfield Wellness Center in Springfield, LA, about an hour NW of New Orleans. We have just recently had the pleasure of meeting a gentleman that you directed to us to seek treatment from the freedom of suboxone, which was very successful. I wanted to make sure to reach out to you to thank you. I would love to hear from you. I know that your story is an inspiration to many. I have a similar story with a demon of another name, but a demon nonetheless. I look forward to hearing back from you and possibly meeting you one day. Carpe Diem, my friend.

That’s so wonderful to hear, Michelle. And the first male client I recommended to go there (who lives pretty close to there) had an extraordinary experience too, coming off around 300 mg of oxycodone per day. Whenever I have new clients I nearly always mention you guys as the best place to get treatment. I’m going to save your email and reach out there as well. Thanks so much for commenting and for taking good care of the recent Suboxone patient. This just made my day to know they’re now free from buprenorphine dependence.

we’ll recently I made a attempt at quiting. I failed I tried quitting with kratom coming straight off 6 30s a day to 4 kratom every 2 hours. I went 5days gave in I know that sucks but I learned a lot. I know I need other medicines now to help the withdrawal. I,m 66 that played into the problem.
Matt & Chris says
Yes, the age for sure plays into it. And that was a good size habit to come off as well.

well Matt I,ve done got on suboxone and I have quit. I think it don’t matter how you do it its that you get it done. I,m not going to down NA if it helps some one stay off narcotic pain meds. I would like to know about how you stay clean the more ways the better.

Hi I have been on methadone for 3 years. First started at 180. Got down to 70,found out I was pregnant then back up to 150. Had the baby got down to 100…and again found out I’m pregnant..I’m 8 months and about to give birth soon I’m at 135. I’d like to know a good somewhat easier way to get off methadone after the baby. I’m also prescribed gabapentin, zoloft and klonopin 1mg 2x daily. I just so want off to be the best mom
Matt & Chris says
Right on good for you, Alyssa. Here is a good place to start for learning how to methadone taper:

Anthony Macellari says
Hello Matt I’m on 97 mg of methadone for about 3 years and I’m just so ready to get off it. I was thinking of trying your ultimate opioid 5.0 program. Should I taper down as far as possible first?
Matt & Chris says
Hi Anthony, you could either wait until you get down to a spot that is hard to go further; or you could sign up now if you like. I’d do whatever your intuition says about it. 🙂
