Quote on Commitment from episode… to put on your wall and read every day:
Commitment means putting all of your resources behind that which you have chosen. It means no holding back, no waiting to see if something or someone better will come along. It means no more whining or complaining about the obstacles. It means no more waiting for someone else to do it for you.
Commitment is not passive, complacent or hopeful. It is active and determined. It means getting out and making it happen. It means putting 100 percent of you on the line and going for what you want. When you are truly committed, nothing will get in your way: no reason or excuse can stop you.
When you are committed to someone or something, there is no more doubt or confusion. You have direction, focus, and purpose. Commitment enables you to have freedom and power. Commitment means you back yourself 100 percent. It means you stand behind your choices unwaveringly.
Commitment means claiming your power to manifest what you want in your life. Commitment ultimately means being totally committed to you.

Here’s the Recovery Battlecry script to read aloud every day:
I commit to overcoming addiction. Nothing will stand in my way, for I’ve decided. And this decision has become my resolve. I promise myself that I will keep trying until I succeed.
No roadblocks, obstacles, or fears will vanquish me. I will not cave into the fears. I am their master. I feel the fear and do it anyways. For I am a mighty being and no challenge is too big.
I commit to going through hard times to reach my goal. I am determined to see this through. I call upon the inner strength within me. I call upon the fire of passion of perseverance. Also known as GRIT.
I hereby summon all of the GRIT in the universe to flow into me. For I know that’s what it will take to end my addiction.
I will no longer be a slave. I will reclaim my birthright of freedom. I am the commander and navigator of my life. I decide what to make of it.
And now it’s time to move on from my addiction. I hereby commit to seeing this goal to the end. No addiction is stronger than me. For I am an eternal soul with a supercomputer brain. And that is infinity stronger than any addiction.
I now integrate my body, mind, and spirit together… as one. I have clarity of purpose. I have unimaginable mental powers. I have spiritual power that no addiction can touch.
And I NOW unleash this integrated body/mind/spirit elemental force. It’s activated within me, and it vanquishes all obstacles and fears in my way.
Get out of my way, oh pathetic addiction, for I have no more time to waste on you anymore. It’s my way or the highway, so take a hike as you’re not wanted anymore.
You have served your purpose and your time is up. So be on your way as it’s my time to rise up. Out of the pits of hell, I rise. A metamorphosis of transformation is my prize.
I’ll do the hard things and I’ll do what I must. For its faith that I’m filled with and the universe that I trust.
